Get Your Green On!

I found Dr. Jesse Chappus on Twitter- and was hooked. He is a chiropractor from Canada and his blog has excellent health and wellness info and tips. When I asked him about his suggestion for overall plant-based strength and wellness, he turned to greens.

“To have a positive impact on a person’s overall health I recommend including a green smoothie into their daily routine. Smoothies are an easy and delicious way to provide your body with a ton of nutrition in one meal/snack.

Add a handful of your favourite greens to the blender with an equal amount of fruit to sweeten the drink (bananas work well). Blend it together with some filtered water and you have a drink that packs a nutritional punch. You can also add some superfoods to this base for an endless array of smoothie options.

Have fun and experiment away with green smoothies!”

Here is his blog post featuring the 5 Reasons to Start Making More Green Juice for more info.

Dr. Chappus is a diversified practitioner who has completed various courses outside of The Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto, Ontario. Prior to attending CMCC he completed a four year Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree with Honours in Movement Science at the University of Windsor. He is full body trained in Active Release Techniques® and certified in Clinical Acupuncture. Check out his blog for awesome tidbits for health and wellness.
